Paul and Barnabas Are Sent
The church at Antioch set apart Barnabas and Saul for the work to which they were called. They traveled, spoke in synagogues and other settings, and met both interest and opposition. Acts describes gatherings of believers, the appointment of elders, and their return to report to the church that had sent them. Their journey is one part of a larger story of the Gospel crossing places and communities.
