Joseph’s Dreams

Joseph’s dreams and his father’s special treatment deepened tensions with his brothers. When Joseph came looking for them, they plotted against him and he was eventually sold and taken to Egypt. They used his robe to deceive Jacob, who believed his son had died. The chapter leaves Joseph far from home and his father grieving, before the later story shows how the family’s paths cross again.
